Mendelian Genetics and Genetics Research

1. Re-watch the following video on Gregor Mendel and genetics:




2. The following are review games and activities for Punnett Square Practice. You should pick at least 3 different games to play before the timer runs out.

3. Once you've reformed your group, continue by finishing up your research. Remember that each person in you group should use at least 2 different resources
  • This means that if you're working alone, you should use at least 3 different resources.
  • If you're working with one other person, you should use at least 5 different resources.
  • If you're working with two other people, you should use at least 7 different resources.

4. If your group is done researching, you need to figure out how you would like to present your genetic disorder. Here are some ideas:

  • Powerpoint
  • Prezi
  • Poster
  • Video
  • Play or short story (which you must act out)
  • Song
  • Other...? If you have an idea not listed, just check in with Ms. Chea


5. Once the timer runs out, you need to begin your Exit Ticket on Socrative in room 35718 and complete the following google form. 






6.  When you're done, shut down and close your computer. You can then:
  • Work on SCIENCE homework
  • Read
